• Alcohol too low to dry anything: it turns up twentieth, behind the preservative, in a share that small. The line is in the formula and it changes nothing about how your skin feels at the tap.

wet the face first, and build the lather in your palms before any of it touches skin.

• Squeeze a short ribbon into wet hands and churn it until the paste has turned to white foam.
• Circle it over the nose, the chin and the forehead for twenty seconds, lighter across the cheeks.
• Flood it off with lukewarm water until nothing feels slippery.
• Put your lotion on inside the minute, before the face dries in open air.

Eight or nine weeks of evening washes come out of one tube. A soap rinses so thoroughly that it leaves nothing at all behind, so skin that pulls the moment it is dry should keep this for the evening and set the Red Cream 2.0 over it straight afterwards.
