Medicube Hypochlorous Acid Body Peel Shot
£18.90
A body exfoliant you rub into dry skin before the water goes on. A protease loosens what holds dead cells to one another, so they crumble away under your fingers with nothing abrasive involved. Charcoal powder and hypochlorous acid follow, ceramide NP and panthenol land it soft, and the shoulders come out smooth. 280 ml.

Description
Vest tops in July, and the tops of the arms still catch on the strap of a bag. A chest that goes bumpy two days after a hard session. Skin that a shower gel has been promising to sort out since spring. This bottle works before the water is even running, and it does the job with no grain in it at all.
280 ml of thin fluid for the body, poured into the palm and rubbed into dry skin with the shower still switched off. Pale crumbs gather under the fingers inside the first minute, and those are dead cells letting go.
- Dead skin loosened instead of scoured off: a protease closes the ingredient list, and an enzyme of that family cuts what binds dead cells to one another. They lift under your fingers and go with the water, so no scrub and no brush ever has to touch you.
- Charcoal and hypochlorous acid, the two names on the front: they sit side by side in the middle of the list. Between them they leave a shoulder feeling properly scoured without anything having scoured it.
- A fast dry finish on skin that shines: Alcohol Denat. comes second, right behind water. That ranking is why the back dries in seconds and why an oily upper back comes out matte rather than tacky.
- Comfort put back at the end: ceramide NP, panthenol, allantoin, polyglutamic acid and a hyaluronate crosspolymer close the formula, with centella, rice bran water and tea tree leaf behind them. Skin reads soft after the towel, not stripped.
The fluid stays thin enough that one palmful covers a whole back, and it carries chlorella, marshmallow flower and rice extract along with it.
Recommended for the backs of the arms, the tops of the thighs, shoulders and chest on oily skin, bumpy patches a shower gel never settles, and the day after a long session.
How to use
dry hands, dry skin, and the tap still off. Work one area at a time.
- Pour a generous palmful and spread it across the area in a thin coat.
- Make wide circles for a minute, until crumbs gather under your fingers.
- Step under lukewarm water, take it all off, then wash as you normally would.
- Pat dry and put a body cream on before the skin cools.
Two sessions a week on a wide area, and 280 ml carries you through about three months. Skin shaved the same day is better left until tomorrow, and above the jaw the Hypochlorous Acid Daily Facial Spray is the one dosed for a face.
